• About me

Born in the UK, I've lived and worked in Asia for the past 6 years.

I built a successful career in one of the world’s biggest financial institutions; helping leaders, teams and individuals grow, lead and excel. I loved it. I learnt my trade, travelled the world and was surrounded by super smart people.

After 11 years of living and working at a break neck pace my body required attention and I no longer felt that I was learning the things I needed to learn. I simultaneously wanted less (stress, speed and churn) and more (ease, self-discovery and depth).

I wanted to go deeper with the people I worked with. I knew that helping people grow into successful leaders in life and business, I needed to work across the depth and breadth of life, love, business, mind, body & spirit.

Great leaders know themselves well and make space to get connected to who they really are. It’s hard to do that when you’re caught up in busy. Through my commitment to creating space for my own self-discovery, I’m dedicated to helping you build long term leadership impact that’s more fulfilling, more sustainable, more inspiring.

For years I’ve been on a journey of self-discovery, looking into all areas of my life and work. This has lead me through working with organisational and team coaching, systemic coaching and constellations, ontological coaching, yoga & Ayurveda teacher training, breathwork, bodywork, silent meditation, numerous transformational retreats and weekly coaching and supervision.

I practice daily meditation, body movement and am a student of Cha Dao ('The way of tea').

Along with my background in leadership development, operating in a complex, global organisation, I bring all of this experience and know-how to work with you in a safe and confidential space that follows what you need, to be more of who you are.

    My principles

The important things I've learned along the way and help inform my life and work:

    • Confidentiality and providing a safe container is key for your self-discovery
    • Acknowledge what is, to be able to move to better
    • Conventional doesn't mean right
    • Understanding the systems we're a part of is as important as understanding ourselves
    • Develop radical discernment so you know when to say yes and when to say no
    • A peaceful conscious / mind is more valuable than anything in the long run
    • Say the unsaid
    • Deep listening requires deep presence
    • Success means something different to me than it does to you
    • Life is a never-ending journey of learning and re-learning
    • Your potential is unlocked when you connect mind and body
    • Great leaders dig deep, reflect, learn from their mistakes & share what they learn
    • Well-being & self-care is emotional, physical, social, intellectual, spiritual and financial
    • Meditation is a game-changer
    • Nature guides, connects us and ignites our creativity
    • Embrace nuance
    • Truth is an essential foundation for everything
    • Challenge and feedback helps you see yourself more clearly
    • Having an ‘in-work’ and ‘out-of-work’ persona doesn't benefit your health or your potential
    • Clarity can be achieved when you create space for it
    • Spirit before theory – best practices, tools and guidelines help you execute not decide
    • Slowing down and doing less allows you to do more
    • Life your life by your intrinsic values and you’ll always be in your integrity
    • It’s not about me – my role as a coach is not to tell you what to do but help you find your own way and trust yourself doing it

I've worked with senior executives, highly talented emerging leaders, founders of multi-million revenue companies and designed & delivered global talent & culture strategies across highly matrixed organisations. I've worked for the Sydney Town Planning office, cold-called selling professional portrait photography and washed hotel dishes. I've danced until sunrise in the Goan jungle and the Serbian countryside, rode the 'road of death' from the Argentinian border to the Bolivian capital, sailed down the Nile in a felucca and taken 10 days of silence in Thailand.

I take my principles, inspiration and wisdom from all these life and work experiences. I'm committed to deep inner work, self-mastery, tea ceremony and living a well-balanced and conscious life. I also love art, philosophy, architecture, a super eclectic mix of music, dancing my ass off, good cheese, a nice glass of wine, the city buzz and being in nature. I want to do deep meaningful work and live a life well led, and help others do the same.
